Stuck

Story time is one of our favourite times of the day.  Last week, we read a story called Stuck by Oliver Jeffers.  We loved this story so much, we asked for it to be read again and again.  Stuck is about a little boy who gets his kite stuck in a tree.  In order to get his kite down, he throws many different things, including the kitchen sink up, and all these things become stuck as well.

We decided to make our own version of this story.  As a class, we sketched and painted a tree on large mural paper.  Then we brainstormed different crazy things that we could throw up in a tree.  We carefully drew our pictures and then painted them.
