When we looked at Piet Mondrian's artwork, we learned about the primary colours.

We used Wassily Kandinsky's "Colour Study" as a way to discover the secondary colours.

We were so excited to see how we could make the secondary colours with paint, that we tried mixing colours with lots of different materials. We used spray bottles, eye droppers, the light table and projector, ice cubes, test tubes, colour blocks and even the Smartboard.
Every time a new colour was made it was "Magic!"
We had a few guest "magicians" come and perform to help set the stage before we wrote and performed our own colour magic!
After learning, exploring and writing about colour mixing, we wanted to share our discoveries. We created a stage perfect for performing and even "hired" a bunny to assist with the magic!
We hope you enjoy the show!
