Go Away Big Green Monster week.

This week we read the story Go Away Big Green Monster.  This book sparked a lot of creativity and imagination.  Here is a look at all the fun we had this week.

We made predictions about where the Big Green Monster went at the end of the story.  We had some very creative ideas such as and hiding in a castle and going to the jungle.

We collected all different kinds of found objects such as bottle lids, broken pieces of toys, can tabs, pieces of plastic, etc and turned them into our own MONSTER FACES!  We had such a great time trying to find just the perfect object to make our monster look just right!

We used a hand puppet and the SMART Board to retell the story in our own words.

We added to our Poem Book and drew10 little monster to go with our Monster Poem for the week.

And to finish the week off, we made Big Green Monster Cookies. They were a huge hit!

We also played some fun Halloween games and made some really spooky Haunted Houses.

We matched letters on a big magnet tray.

And we played a fun game with our friends.  We call it noodle box.
