With Thanksgiving coming up right around the corner, we have been busy having some turkey fun. One of our Ask Me To jobs was to disguise a turkey so it wouldn't get eaten for Thanksgiving dinner. All the "Turkeys" that came back to school were great so we decided to turn our disguised turkeys into a class book. We used an iPad to take a picture and then write what our Turkey was disguised as.

We also made a placemat to use for our Thanksgiving dinner. First we drew a picture of what we are thankful for, and then we used our patterning skills and made a pattern around the edge of our placemat.
I loved all of the creative ideas the children had for their Turkey disguises! :)
