Guess who was in our classroom???

Over the last week or so, we have been reading a variety of Goldilocks and the Three Bears books at story time. We really like to see what is the same and what is different in each version.  After reading a few, we noticed that Goldilocks always is "naughty."  She doesn't listen to her mother, she breaks into a house, steals food and breaks things.  This is not what a nice girl would do.

One day we got a mystery message while we were doing our group time.  It was from Goldilocks.

The students were so excited and eager to find out what she did to our classroom.  They thought that she would do lots of "naughty" things in our room.

Students looked around the classroom for things that were not quite right.  They took a picture using our class iPads and then wrote about it using the PicCollage app.  Take a look at all the terrible things that happened in our room.

The next day we got yet another mystery message from Goldilocks.

The students were so eager to find more things that Goldilocks did in our classroom.

Then on the third day, the students were expecting another video message from Goldilocks.  Everyone was very surprised when they found out that Goldilocks sent an email.  Here is what the email said.

The students were a little sad that  Goldilocks didn't come and do some more naughty things, but they are still on the look out.  There has been talk of traps, signs and other creative ways to catch her.  After we read the e-mail we noticed that she used a lot of the words that we know.  We found some of the words we know and practiced writing them for our word work today!
