For the last day before spring break, we had our very own special Teddy Bear Olympic Day! We got to bring our favourite teddy bear or stuffy to school. We started the day by playing
Bears on a Blanket. We put all our bears on a big blanket and then we had to work together and try and shake the bears off. It was lots of fun seeing all the bears fly into the air.
Next we played a very spirited game of Musical Bears. We held onto our bears and walked around the chairs until the music stopped. It was hard not to get upset when we got out, but we cheered on our friends from the sidelines.
Then we took the party down to the auditorium. There were so many different things to play with. Here is a quick peak at all the fun we had today.

The very popular bear cave.
It wouldn't be the Olympics without a gold medal. We returned to the classroom and we made a very special gold medal cookie. We put on our own "gold" icing and used Froot Loops to made the Olympic rings. Lots of smiles all around.

**There were a lot of fast moving kids during our fun which makes for some funny blurry pictures.
