Wishes

Since spring has arrived, I have been given countless dandelion bouquets from my thoughtful students. I thanked them for their gift, then told them I loved dandelions more when they turned into "wish flowers."  I explained to them if you blow all the white seeds off in one breath and make a wish, your wish will come true.  Or so I have been told.

A week or so had passed and there wasn't any sign of yellow "flowers" in the kindergarten room.  One day last week one of my wonderful students brought a "wish flower" to the door as I was letting the class in. She said... "Make a wish."  Of course, I did, and from that moment on, we have been making wishes every day.

Take a look at some of our wishes.  What is even better than the wishes, is the fact that all the students could write their own wishes down.  I am one proud teacher!!
