Cat the Cat

We love listening to stories.  We ESPECIALLY love listening to stories by Mo Willems.  One of our favourite Mo Willems books is Cat the Cat Who is That?   All of the books in this series are easy to read and super funny.

After reading the story quite a few times and practising making sentences on the Smart Board, we each created our very own page for the Kindergarten Cat the Cat Wall Story.

We looked closely at Mo Willems books and how he drew each character.  We used sharpies to draw a black outline and then used pastels to brightly colour our animals.  Then we each got a turn to use the computer to type up our sentence so it would be just like the real book.

Once the pages were up on the bulletin board, we practised reading our story as a class.  We hope you enjoy our stories.
