Hot Dog Party!

Hot Dog Party!  Yes, that is right!  Today we had our Mo Willems Hot Dog Party to celebrate all the learning we have been doing.

As we walked into the classroom, we noticed that there were A LOT of pigeons hiding in the room!  After we did our discovery and group time, we went on a pigeon hunt.  We saw that there were numbers on them so as a group we put them in order.

Next we got to decorate a hot dog.  We used crazy toppings! (Stickers)  Everyone got to put on ten different toppings. Once they were decorated, we wrote down our toppings. We are getting very good at hearing the different sound in words.  The finishing touch was to add some ketchup and mustard. (Glitter glue)

We also had recess, play time and gym.  By the end of the morning and afternoon we were getting really hungry.  We were ready to eat our Hot Dogs and we did!   They were so yummy!  What a great way to finish a week!
