For each day in May, a word is given. (See below) Our "Instagrammer" of the day needs to find something in our classroom, or school ground that represents that word. We then post it to Instagram with the hash tag #eduphotoadaymay. At the end of the day we can see all the other pictures taken by other classrooms and teachers. The students have been getting very excited comparing all the pictures from other classes.
We have also added a few more rules to our Instagram use since it is so popular now.
Our #4 rule now is Questions need Answers. If someone asks a questions about one of our pictures, the polite thing to do is answer it. And the #5 rule is Share the Love. For every picture we post, we need to comment or ask a question to another classroom.
