Our Grass Jungles

A few weeks ago we planted our own little containers of grass.  We watered it, placed them by our windows to get lots of sunshine and watched the grass grow. Once the grass had grown everyone got to pick two animals from a bag.  We put our animals into our grass and called it a "jungle." After we placed our animals, we each wrote three things about our scene.  It was great to see all the different ideas.  The kindergartens have become good little writers this year.
