Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Part 2

Today was the last day of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom activities.  We finished off in a big way!  First everyone got to make their own coconut tree to eat.  We used chocolate wafer cookies as the trunk, red grapes for the coconuts, granny smith apples for the palm leaves and alpha bits cereal for the letters.

After we ate our snack, we got to make our names on a very big Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree.  It was a little tricky to find all the letters, but everyone managed to spell out their names. Once we had all the letters in the correct order, we stretched out next to the tree for a picture for another class book!

Here is what we had to say about our week:

Zti, Chantel, Zeida, Griffin, Evelyn, Caroline, Jesse, Lucas and Mikey said, "I liked the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom snack."

Kayla said, " I liked using the magnets on the big tree.

Mackenzie said,  "I liked colouring the tree."

Lilia said, "I liked the big one on the floor."

Mattejas, William, Seth, Hannah, Jordyn, Cohen, Teagan, Robert, Julie - "I liked the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom snack."

Kylie - "I liked putting the letters on the big tree when we were done our snack."

Wyatt and Atley - "I liked putting the magnets on the tree."

Ethan - "I liked the play dough."

Rebecca - "I liked watching the Chicka Chicka movies."
