On September 15, a million people around the world celebrate creativity, courage and collaborate by making their mark.
Today we began to "make our mark" by creating three different kinds of big dots. It was very exciting because we got to experiment with three different kinds of art supplies.
At the first table we use pastels to draw dots and then we painted over the dots with watercolour paint. We thought it was really neat how the paint didn't stick to the pastel.
At the second table we experimented with print making. We dipped toilet paper tubes and different sized containers into paint and then we printed/stamped them onto the big dot paper.
At the last table we got our finger muscles working and we peeled dot stickers and stuck them to the paper. Some of us even made patterns with the stickers. We also used a circle paper punch and cut out our own dots to glue to the paper.
To finish this dot off we added a few bingo dabs. Some of the dots even splattered!
Here are our finished Dots!
