Leaves, Leaves, Leaves

Today we continued our investigation of trees by looking closely at the leaves we collected over the weekend.  We had three different things we had to do with the leaves.

 

First we had to put the leaves in order by size from biggest to smallest or from smallest to biggest.

Then we had to make different patterns with the leaves, some pine cones and little acorns.  We made sure to describe our patterns as well.

Last we had to come up with a way to sort the leaves.  It was a little tricky, but we all managed to come up with a sorting rule and tell what it was.
